Personal Statement:

I love working with clients invested in investigating and changing what isn't working for them. Keeping the tenets of my traditional training, I also incorporate humor, analogies (a client once described me as "the analogy king"), and focusing on the issues that brought you to therapy.  I have a very full life outside of the treatment room, enjoying a life in the arts, hiking, music, and creating community events. My varied life experiences are an asset when helping relate to client experiences.

I am skilled working with individuals and couples presenting a variety of issues and strive to be multiculturally informed.  If you are interested in experiencing less pain and improving your life, I encourage you to call Therapy For Adults to set up a consultation.  During that call, we will discuss what is not working for you in your life and discover if I am the right fit for you as a therapist.

Steven Reigns, M.A., Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, #92675. Reigns founded Therapy For Adults; was selected to train psychiatrists, psychologists and nurses from around the world in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Substance Use Disorder therapies; been nationally praised for starting an innovative supportive group; worked as a therapist for over a decade (previously he provided HIV counseling for eleven years); and created groups for seniors and dealing with depression. Reigns trained in the Matrix Model for Addiction and facilitated substance abuse groups for six years. Reigns received his Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University.

Steven offers couples counseling, relationship and dating therapy, dating coaching, anxiety therapy, and therapy for highly sensitive people (HSP).
